Glen Powell has been praised for his response when he was asked about being the next James Bond.
The question of who will play the next Bond is one that's been circulating for years, with the likes of Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Aaron-Taylor Johnson being discussed for the role.
There's even rumours of the first ever female 007, but ultimately, nothing has been confirmed or denied just yet.
One person who has pretty strong opinions on who should and shouldn't be the next Bond is Powell, who gave his opinion in a recent interview.

When asked by JOE about being the next 007, he said: “Bond? Absolutely not.”
He was then asked if he would ever consider the role, to which he responded: “Me? Absolutely not.
“No look I’m a huge James Bond fan. As a kid I tried to get people to call me Pierce, because of Pierce Brosnan, I even wrote a James Bond play.
“All my cousins wanted to be James Bond.
“But no, as a James Bond fan, I know a Brit should play him."
It seems like people were quick to agree with Powell, with one person writing on X: "Honestly good for him. He probably just wants to see the best for the film."
While another said: "That’s how you’d know he’s a big fan of the film, he doesn’t want to ruin it."

The last Bond was played by Daniel Craig, who made five films in total - Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time to Die (2021).
"I had an incredibly fortunate 17 years of my life making this," Craig told the BBC in 2022.
"I literally want to spend the next 20 years of my life trying to unhook it all and try and put it into a place because it was incredible."
"I left it where I wanted it to be," he continued. "And that I was given the chance to do that with the last movie."

Although nothing has been confirmed about the next Bond, there has been a few hints.
In a 2023 interview with the Radio Times, casting director Debbie McWilliams noted that while younger actors were briefly considered, they're now off the table. "We did look at a lot of younger actors, and I just don't think they had the gravitas," she said.
"They didn't have the experience, they didn't have the mental capacity to take it on, because it's not just the part they're taking on, it's a massive responsibility."
Meanwhile, producer Barbara Broccoli similarly noted that while the new Bond can't be too young, he also can't be too old.
"When we cast Bond, it's a 10-, 12-year commitment," Broccoli told Variety in 2022. "So he's probably thinking, 'Do I really want that thing?' Not everybody wants to do that. It was hard enough getting [Daniel Craig to do it]."
