Charlie Sheen revealed initial reaction to his and Denise Richards' daughter joining OnlyFans

Charlie Sheen reflected on his first reaction to his daughter joining OnlyFans, admitting it was a ‘knee-jerk’ response.
The 59-year-old actor was expecting the worse when he found out his second oldest daughter, Sami Sheen, had joined the OnlyFans platform back in 2022.
Sheen wasn’t the only one with some reservations, however.
Sami’s mom, Denise Richards, appeared to take issue with the move and advised the then 19-year-old to ‘think twice’ because there was a ‘certain perception’ that went with it.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star would eventually turn to social media to defend her daughter’s choice as she was posting on the platform as well.
In an Instagram post at the time, Richards said: “Lots of negative comments on my social this past week. I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has.
“I also can’t be judgmental of her choices. I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be either.
“And to be able to ignore the negativity at her age? It took me many years & I still sometimes struggle. I’m in awe of her ability to be able to shut out the noise. Because it can destroy you.”
Previously speaking to Bustle about his daughter joining the subscription-based site, Sheen admitted he was clear about his reservations before he came around to the idea.
He said: “I had a knee-jerk reaction to it because of the reputation that preceded it. I was just like, ‘Oh, this can only go bad’.”
The Two and a Half Men star admitted that wasn’t his usual approach to new ventures but added that his reaction was tied to the fact it involved his daughter.
Sheen explained: “I think when your child is involved, it presents as just a whole different alternative set of circumstances.”
While speaking to US Weekly, Sheen appeared to make a dig at Richards - who he split from in 2006 - by insisting that Sami did not start her career on the platform ‘under his roof’, alluding to the fact she was living with her mother at the time.
He added: “I do not condone this but since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”
The actor would eventually come around and that his daughter’s success was partly dependent on the support she received from her parents.
Sheen noted: “She’s doing this and it can only be a much more successful and pleasant experience with the support of myself, her mom, and others.
“I have to have confidence and just know in my heart that all of her virtues and all the wonderfulness that makes her, her, come with her.”
While Richards and her daughter post on the platform, there's one rule they both follow - do not go onto each other's pages.
