Cardi B responds to being called a predator due to her 'drugging and robbing' past

She took a swipe at her fans 😯

Cardi B has been forced to defend herself after she called out the Dalai Lama. This was due to a viral video of the spiritual healer kissing a child that began circulating online last weekend.

The footage was posted via social media and has since drawn widespread criticism. Rapper Cardi B - real name Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar - is just one of the many who took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the video.

The original video is two-minute, five seconds long and sees Dalai Lama kissing a child, before allegedly telling him to ‘suck his tongue’. He also tells the child, “to look at those good human beings who created peace and happiness and not follow those who kill other people.”

Since the footage went viral, the spiritual leader has been forced to apologise for his actions.

In a statement circulated via the Tibetan’s head office, it’s said that “His Holiness wishes to apologise to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.”

“His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way,” the statement continues. “Even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident.”

However on Monday 10 April, Cardi had her say on the situation. She tweeted, “This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children.’

“Predators could be our neighbours, our school teachers, even people [with money. power [and] our churches,” she continued. “Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”

Since her original tweet, the I Like It star had doubled down on her sentiments aimed at Dalai Lama.

In another tweet she wrote, “I don’t gotta’ watch my words
I know exactly what I mean from the time you start potty training your kids you should tell them don’t let nobody touch your privates, enter the bathroom with you and don’t keep no secrets away from mommy.”

However, Cardi has also been forced to back up her views. This was prompted after a troll took to one of her recent Instagram posts and wrote, “I’m sorry I just don’t want predator PSAs from a former/current predator.”

Cardi clapped back at the troll and wrote, “You saying that but you following me in my DM and commenting about my son but I’m a predator?”

When another commenter brought up her ‘drugging and robbing past’, Cardi decided to go Live on Instagram to address the commentary and dispel rumours.

“Ya’ll not gonna keep doing this,” she said. “For ya’ll to said that I’m some predator
because [they] wanted to buy some p*ssy from me? These weren’t no vulnerable men
Did I touch their body? No. Robbing and raping is two different type of sh*ts.”

Despite the trolls, Cardi B thanked her fans for support.

Having the final word on the situation, Cardi wrote via Twitter that despite the trolling, she was happy about the support her fans were giving her.
