Harvard scientist makes shocking claim about how civilization on Mars was wiped out

The Harvard scientist's claim has not been backed up by NASA

Just when we thought there wasn't much more to discuss when it comes to Mars, a Harvard scientist has now made a shocking claim about how civilization on Mars was apparently wiped out.

Humanity has long been dreaming of getting closer to the planet - something which became close to reality last month.

NASA released the clearest footage of Mars 140,000,000 miles away, and everyone was seemingly saying the same thing.

Away from that, one scientist is claiming ancient civilization on Mars was wiped out by a nuclear attack, which came from another alien race.

Dr John Brandenburg is the man who believed it really happened and he has spoken in the past about why he feels the catastrophic event really happened.

Jason Reza Jorjani, a notable science fiction writer reshared this theory on the Danny Jones Podcast recently.

He said: "Every planet has a certain amount of isotopes of different materials on it, and apparently the isotopic ratio of Xenon 129 is consistent across the entire solar system, except for on Mars."

While NASA disputes this, Dr Brandenburg argued that such evidence suggests that life may have existed on Mars in the past and that there are remnants of nuclear explosions on the surface on the planet.

Jorjani added on the podcast: "When a thermonuclear bomb is detonated, it leaves a trace of Xenon 129 in that area, which is not the normal.

"And according to Dr Brandenburg, it's a very distinct signature. It's unmistakable, and it's specifically associated with thermonuclear weapons detonation."

It should be worth noting that NASA or no governmental agency have ever stated that any civilization has ever lived on Mars, though that hasn't stopped the theories coming to fruition.

Reza Jorjani added: "When you put the [CIA's] data next to Brandenburg's thesis, this nuclear event took place maybe a hundred million years ago.

"Joe McMonagle was tasked with remote viewing Mars in 1984. And this was a CIA operation run at the Monroe Institute. So he was working on contract for the CIA and this was done at the, at the Monroe Institute.

"When McMonagle was doing this remote viewing session, he described being in the midst of the ruins of a megalithic city with gigantic pyramids," said Jorjani.

While many will debate the validity of these claims, at least we have the recent footage of Mars to take a look at.

According to Cosmos magazine, the images were captured in December 2015 by NASA's Curiosity Rover on Namib Dune in the Bagnold Dune Field.

The stunning snaps have since gone viral on Reddit.
