People are flooding to social media in horror after a Tesla driver revealed what happened when he drove through a cemetery.

It's all well and good owning a fancy shmancy electrical Tesla car until one day, you end up having to drive past - or through - a cemetery and your Tesla Vision starts picking up on objects in your surroundings which you'd rather not see.

With a nod to Elon Musk's high-tech car in Leave the World Behind, could we be about to see a new horror movie featuring a Tesla driving through a graveyard? Well, here's one someone made earlier.

Fitness model and social media influencer Fernando Torraca took to his Instagram page earlier this year to reveal his experience 'driving a Tesla through a cemetery'.

While the video begins in daylight, Torraca then moves on to show followers what happened when he started driving out of the cemetery, outside having gone dark.

Pointing towards the Tesla's screen which shows an image of the car and its surroundings, suddenly out of nowhere a figure of a person pops up on the screen, walking from the right-hand side of the road towards the vehicle.

"What the, what the f**k y'all? Y'all f**king saw that?" The influencer can be heard exclaiming.

Torraca then swings his camera towards the window of his car, revealing there doesn't seem to be anyone actually there.

Turning back to the screen, he realises the figure of a person on the screen has since disappeared.

Alas, another figure then comes into view before vanishing out of nowhere, and another and... Well, you get the gist.

A caption on the video reads: "Some ghost was walking towards me."

The influencer can be heard resolving: "That's it, I'm getting out of here."

And it hasn't taken long for social media users to flood to the comments to weigh in on the bizarre sightings. Warning, contains explicit language:

One Instagram user said: "It’s probably picking up all the tombstones labeling them as people."

"AI is messing with humans already," another added.

And a third wrote: "Ghosts have frequencies people. They exist in the bandwidth above most of you so you can't see. Tons of tech and AI picks up these frequencies."

A fourth said: "I get it people say Tesla think it's the tomb stone but running to the car? Never seen rocks running to the cars or tomb stone running to the cars."

While a final resolved: "NEW CHANNEL: GHOST HUNTING WITH A TESLA."
