Samsung has reignited its feud with Apple after the tech company finally unveiled its new iPhone 17 models and the iPhone Air at an ‘awe-dropping’ event.

September means Apple’s annual product launch has come around again, and this year, tech enthusiasts are buzzing about the sleek new iPhone 17 and the innovative iPhone Air, the latter is Apple's thinnest iPhone yet, which measures just 5.6mm thick.

"Our intention was to make an iPhone that feels like a piece of the future, powerful, yet so thin and light it seems to disappear in your hands," the company said of the new device.

The device is said to be Apple's most durable iPhone yet, despite being its thinnest and it boasts a ceramic shield that encloses a titanium frame on both sides.

The iPhone 17 devices meanwhile will come in five colors: lavender, mist blue, black, white and sage.

Apple also revealed refreshed AirPods Pro 3, and an updated Apple Watch lineup.

While there's plenty for tech fans to get excited about, the team at Samsung doesn't seem to think the event was 'awe-dropping' at all.

Samsung Mobile US responded to the hype around Apple’s new lineup by retweeting a brutal post it originally shared three years ago.

Samsung makes several foldable phones, making the company a leader in the foldable smartphone category for a few years now. These models, such as the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold series, use a layer of Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) to allow users to fold and unfold their mobiles effortlessly. Samsung released its foldable lineup all the way back in 2019.

Then in 2022 during the launch of the iPhone 14 series, Samsung posted: “Let us know when it folds.”

Apple has yet to enter the foldable smartphone category, considered to be extremely futuristic and innovative.

The same X account re-shared the 2022 post with the extra-savage dig #iCant. The new post reads: “#iCant believe this is still relevant. [skull emoji]”

The post has accumulated more than 300,000 views and over 6300 likes so far.

Apple fans came out in support of the tech company’s phones, with one person writing: “Why do u think folding is a flex lol.”

Another person declared: “You’re so cooked Samsung bro.”

While a third posted on X: “Apple will forever be better than you guys.”

However, not everyone was on the same page. “Honestly enjoying Samsung tweets,” one person wrote in the replies.

In addition to the standard iPhone and Air, Apple are releasing the Pro and Pro Max. It's these phones that supposedly have 'best camera system [Apple has] ever made'.

The front camera has an 18 megapixel center stage camera, there are three 48 megapixels cameras on the back, there's 4x zoom at 100 millimeters, a far-reaching 8x zoom at 200 millimeters and Tetraprism telephoto has an improved censorship image stabilization system.
