Much of the internet has been left horrified after discovering the two products Apple now classes as 'vintage'.
To be honest, the amount of new tech Apple releases, it doesn't take long for your iPhone, iPad, or even Apple Watch to feel out of date.
Tim Cook and co released the latest iPhone 15 model last September, with the hugely anticipated iPhone 16 model set to release this September.

However, a lot of folks are still using iPhone models that have been out in the wild for a while.
I mean, the latest iPhone is pretty expensive, and with a cost of living crisis still impacting millions of Americans, it's hardly surprising to see many struggling to afford the latest tech.
And when products have been out for a reasonable amount of time, Apple dubs them as 'vintage'.

While it's no surprise the likes of the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone SE have been dubbed with such a label, there is one phone that has surprised a lot of folks.
Remember the iPhone X?
The special anniversary phone that was the first iPhone to use an OLED screen, branded as a Super Retina HD display.
Well, that is now classed as 'vintage' by Apple.

Released in 2017, the iPhone X retailed at a whopping $1,000 when it first came to market, and is regarded as one of the more loved iPhones by Apple.
But according to the company themselves it is now 'vintage', alongside the first AirPods - which released a year prior in 2016.
Many have flocked to social media, and to say they are horrified is an understatement.
"If IPhone X is vintage then what is my iPhone 7 Plus? Ancient??😭" one person commented.

"I still use the iPhone X and first Airpods?? 😭😭😭😭" a second added.
While a third remarked: "I still have an iPhone 6 bro, when are you sending me to the nursing home?"
And the fact Apple now sees the iPhone X as a thing of the past is evident as the new iOS 18 will not be available on the model.
