Apple's CEO has revealed that the tech giant will be releasing another gadget soon.

Usually we have to wait for spring before Apple drop their big announcements - but it seems like it's coming early this time.

And of course, wanting only the finest things in life is only natural, so when you notice that there’s something new on the market, nobody could blame you for snapping it up.

But now, there’s something on the horizon.

However, according to Tim Cook, people should expect the 'newest member' of the Apple family on Wednesday (February 19).

He posted to Twitter a video of a holographic Apple logo with the caption: “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family. Wednesday, February 19. #AppleLaunch.”

Even though he didn’t say what was being released, there's been a few whispers floating around in the wind, with many believing it’s an updated version of the iPhone SE series.

While this is just a rumor after all, it all stemmed from Mark Gurman, who suggested that the iPhone SE 4 could set to be released - and he has a great argument for it.

While writing for Bloomberg, he theorized: “[iPhone SE 4] will modernize its lower-cost model in a bid to spur growth and entice consumers to switch from other brands.”

He claimed that he had been tipped off by people who 'asked not to be identified' publicly as Apple’s release is 'private'.

According to Gurman, the iPhone SE 4 will look more like the iPhone 14, with a few changes.

He said: “The removal of the home button from the iPhone SE means that Apple will have fully phased out the iconic interface, which debuted on the first iPhone in 2007.”

In a recent article, Gurman wrote that there's a possible clue to that in Cook's message, as he points out that the animation 'appears to show the shape of a home button disappearing'.

But that's not all, as he also suspects that more products will be coming out in 2025, including a Macbook 'with an M4 chip and upgrades to its low-end', iPad Air models, as well as Apple watches and iPhones.

People on Twitter have been commenting under Cook’s post, desperate for a clue, as someone asked: "Can you give us a hint?"

"I'm so excited to see what it is!" another said, while a third replied: "Exciting! Could it be the Apple Vision?"

Guess we'll have to wait and see on February 19.
