At present, no information about the deceased person has been officially confirmed, though Carnival has said it is working to support their loved ones.

Deaths on cruise ships have been thrust into the spotlight in recent months following the release of a new true crime series on Netflix.
The three-part documentary Amy Bradley is Missing, and follows the disappearance of a passenger on a cruise ship in March 1998, going into detail about how the horrible circumstances may have come about.
Amy Bradley vanished from a cruise ship when she was just 23 years old, with the Netflix documentary including interviews with her family as well as witnesses who were on the vessel on the date she vanished.
Prior to her disappearance, Amy had last been seen dancing at a nightclub, and vanished at a time between then and the following morning.
The latest incident also comes after the death of Suzanne Rees, 80, who had been hiking on Lizard Island when she became unwell.
Crew on the ship that she was travelling on realised she was missing, but when they returned to look for her a day later, she was found dead.
