A UK mom is planning to charge her guests through the nose for Christmas dinner and insists the hefty price tag is 'worth it'.
For many, Christmas is a time of year to see family and loved ones and enjoy that time together.
Carla Bellucci has unapologetically said that she intends to charge her guests, even indicating that she wants to make a profit on the meal for the day.
With the cost of living rising, Christmas dinner is one of many things which is becoming more expensive. Particularly for Carla's family, who have to pay $67 more than they did in previous years for the privilege of eating lunch at her place.

Guests have to pay £250, around $330, which covers dinner and champagne.
Carla has previously given insight to what's on the menu with her Christmas dinner, including prawn cocktail with pickled cucumber to start; short ribs, wild mushroom Yorkshire puddings, rosemary-scalloped potatoes and sprouts for the main course; and Christmas pudding for dessert.
But why has she decided this?
"Because I’m worth it, and it’s a[n] experience we all have a wonderful day and eat the best food cooked by the best chef with the best champagne," she told UNILAD.
As for how she reacts to people who don't like her approach, Carla was pretty clear, saying: "Do one, I couldn’t care less. [It's] my life, my way or the highway."
"I hate it when people say 'I don’t charge, I ask people to bring something' - that’s just another way of charging...," she argued.
Carla had some further words for critics of her charging for Christmas, saying bluntly: "I don’t know why people go crazy. Chill, I wouldn’t want you at my table anyway so relax and enjoy your day!"

She added: "I live my life my way, couldn’t care less what anyone thinks of me. On that note enjoy your Prosecco and sprouts, merry Christmas."
Carla explained to UNILAD that she is expecting to have 10 people round for Christmas dinner, for a potential total of £2,500 ($3,300) on the meal, though she said that the charge doesn't apply for children.
However, Carla has previously explained that her own kids, who've since grown up and left home, will have to pay up. She says she has her TV on through the day, and after a game of charades she would kick everyone out at 10pm.
Happy holidays!
