Baba Vanga terrifying predictions for 2026 revealed

It looks like we're in for another year of conflict and turmoil...

I hate to say it folks, but Baba Vanga has yet another bleak forecast for the year ahead.

Last year the Bulgarian mystic (who died in 1996) had predictions of conflict in Europe, human organs by synthetically grown, earthquakes, and a supposed new energy force being unveiled.

Elsewhere Nostradamus also had a pretty unfavorable forecast for 2025 and said that things like the plague returning and even a massive asteroid hitting the Earth was going to happen last year — and fortunately neither happened.

With this mind it's important to take these 'predictions' with a pinch of salt; however, you can't deny that it's interesting to see how Vanga's predictions for the years ahead have been interpreted.

So what did she say people should expect for 2026? Here we break down some of the late mystic's prognosis for the next 12 months...

A year of even more conflict

You probably thought we couldn't have more conflict across the globe, but Vanga seemingly forecast more turmoil between countries across the globe.

Per Sky History, Vanga's 2025 predictions focused on an East vs West theme but this year she said that there will be 'wider escalation of conflict across the globe in general'.

It won't be the end of the world yet though, that won't come until 5079, according to her.

An AI turning point

Fears about AI taking over aren't new, but some interpreters have said that Vanga's prognosis for 2026 will bring AI dominance in key sectors.

These comments come amid rising concerns that AI will take over hundreds of jobs eventually. According to Microsoft, some of these professions may include nursing assistants, skilled manual labor, and embalmers.

Mining energy from Venus

While this prediction technically isn't supposed to come into play until 2028, says Sky History, this will be quite the feat to achieve so arguably work to mine energy from Venus would need to start, well... now.

Synthetic organs

Another phase that will need progress to be started on ASAP is the creation of synthetic organs.

Vanga spoke of organs being synthetically grown last year, but these aren't expected to be 'mass produced' (according to her) until 2046.

The Massachusetts General Hospital started a program over 2024/2025 that's seen them successfully transfer genetically-edited animal organs in to humans. For example, in February 2025 the hospital revealed that it had carried out its second transplant of a genetically-edited pig (porcine) kidney into a living recipient (xenotransplant).

Meanwhile, in 2024 researchers from UC San Francisco and Cedars-Sinai developed a new way to prompt stem cells to form specific organs.

Who knows what other milestones will be reached over the course 2026...
