Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé, often dubbed the ‘Living Nostradamus’, has delivered a chilling warning while revealing the 2026 prediction he is ‘most scared’ about coming true.

For many, the end of the year means taking stock in achievements, manifesting success for the next quarter, and getting your house totally in order before midnight on December 31 rings.

However, others like to take stock in what so-called prophecy tellers claim could happen in the next 365 days.

The main three who some of us look to for guidance are: Nostradamus, the French astrologer who wrote down tons of happenings in his book Les Prophetiés, Baba Vanga, a blind Bulgarian seer who is said to have predicted the Chernobyl disaster, and Athos Salomé, a psychic who claims to have forecasted significant events, including the Coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with UNILAD, the predictor revealed that there was one thing that could happen in 2026 that he is ‘most scared’ about, and it is debilitating solar storms.

Why ‘solar storms’ could become a real threat in 2026

He said that the space weather forecast would take place in early March 2026 and that the prophecy was based on ‘consistent evidence’.

“Since 2024 it has peaked in solar activity and exhibited a marked trend of increasing instability. This is not inflated language. It mirrors an actual physical risk that’s growing month after month,” Salomé explained.

“My direct and objective perspective is as follows: Solar storms now seem like the most plausible scenario to have such immediate impact on daily life, and backed by robust science.

“This deserves full focus. Not out of fear, but rather due to measurable signals in synchrony with potential power cuts, communication failures and technological disruptions in affected regions.”

The soothsayer confessed that other projections for 2026, including ‘geopolitical tension, worldwide instability, economic pressure’ go in smaller and longer cycles, unlike the solar activity which arrives ‘swiftly, without much warning’.

“Hence, why I view it as one of the most sensitive and high-stakes junctures for 2026,” he added.

In an interview with Tyla, the mystic said the solar storms could cause mass disruption and major power outages.

What is a solar storm?

NASA described a solar storm as a sudden explosion of particles, magnetic fields, and other debris, blasted into the solar system by the Sun. When directed toward the Earth, the freak weather event can negatively affect the globe’s magnetic field, which is how the blackouts can take place. The space agency stated that the event is unlikely to cause direct harm to anyone on the globe.

Our planet has previously experienced solar storms, most notably in September 1859 with The Carrington Event.

The latter is the most intense geomagnetic storm in recorded history and was said to have created beautiful auroral displays whilst sparking fires in telegraph stations, as per a study written by the Geophysical Institute at the University of Alaska.

Science backs up solar storm claims

The seer's claims have previously been backed up by scientists, with ABC reporting that a solar event is currently underway.

The solar cycle began in November 2024 and is set to conclude in March 2026. According to NASA, every 11 years, at the height of the solar cycle, the Sun’s magnetic poles flip, with the star transitioning from being calm to an active and stormy state.

Other Living Nostradamus 2026 predictions

Solar storms aren’t the only thing that will likely take place in 2026, according to the Living Nostradamus.

He previously stated that some of the world’s greatest powers, including China and Russia, could cause World War III to break out, and that a new deadly disease could throw our lives into chaos.

Although he did not say whether we could face another pandemic, similar to COVID-19, Salomé did say that ‘Global monitoring needs to be strengthened, especially considering that the EU is rushing to authorise a modified mRNA vaccine’.

Lots to look forward to then, gulp!
