A Twitch streamer has taken to social media to share some disturbing pictures after she was 'robbed at gunpoint' as three armed men broke into her home.

Kaitlyn Siragusa, who goes by the name of Amouranth to her followers, has certainly been through the mill as of late.

She took to Twitter recently to detail how she was dragged out of bed by masked men who insisted that she transfer them her cryptocurrency, during the invasion that took place at her home in Houston, Texas, on Sunday (March 2).

Just before 11pm local time, Amouranth tweeted: "I’m being too robbed at gunpoint," before following up a mere seconds later with: "I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed."

Amouranth provided a further update at 11:29pm by informing her fans she was unharmed by the horrid incident.

"This was a home invasion swat here now I’m safe," she wrote.

Just minutes later she added: "I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now."

Many questioned why the streamer decided to tweet rather than call the police in that situation, to which she responded: "Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence."

"They kept shooting my bedroom door and then finally kicked it in," the influencer wrote alongside the snaps.

The photos reveal the door to be completely caved in, showing the efforts the perpetrators went to to force entry.

One of the could be heard yelling that he had been shot while in the house.

"3 gun men. He screams 'I got shot I got shot' after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence," Amouranth posted.
