Authorities in Texas have issued an update and shared new video regarding the high-profile disappearance of 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos from outside her home on Christmas Eve.

Olmos was last seen leaving her home in Bexar County in the dark early hours of December 24, heading out on her usual morning walk. But when she did not return in the normal time, her family raised the alarm.

Local Sheriff Javier Salazar has warned that Olmos is in 'immediate danger' with investigators not ruling out kidnapping or abduction as the reason for her disappearance, with federal agencies also engaged in the search for the missing teen amid fears she had been trafficked outside of the country.

Almost a week later, police attempting to piece together her initial movements after leaving her Texas home have shared new footage that is believed to show the missing woman, who was last seen wearing white shoes, baby blue pyjama bottoms, and a black and baby blue hoodie.

The new footage was captured by the dashcam of an early morning driver, appearing to show Olmos making her way along Wildhorse Parkway, a few blocks away from her home.

Bexar County Sheriff confirmed this footage was the last known sighting of Olmos, adding: "On the morning of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, 19-year-old Camila Olmos left her residence in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring on foot.

"A passing driver traveling on Wildhorse Pkwy that morning captured footage believed to show Camila walking northbound on Wildhorse Pkwy around 7:00 a.m., between Shetland Wind and Caspian Spring."

Salazar added: "This was the best direction of flight that we were able to develop."

This new video adds to the only other publicly available evidence of what happened after Olmos left her home, security footage appearing to show the teen searching the back of her car for an item before leaving the scene.

She left the house without her phone and is thought to just be carrying car keys and potentially her driver's license.

Searches for the Mexican national continue in the immediate vicinity of the family home, but investigators including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security are also looking across the US border to locate the young woman.

Sheriff Salazar said: "We definitely don't want to miss anything. The ground search is somewhat limited to a couple of square miles. We're also not ruling out that this case may take us outside the borders of the continental United States."

Separately, officials had to confirm that Olmos had not been swept up by ICE agents.

"That was a personal concern," the sheriff shared.

"So, I had it checked to make sure that there were no stops, no detentions, and that she's not somewhere in a federal detention facility. That is something we needed to check."

Motives for the vanished teen remain thin on the ground, with local officials looking into reports of a recent break-up. But with Olmos' ex-boyfriend joining the search and submitting to police interviews, investigators say nothing 'nefarious' has been uncovered.

Bexar County Sheriff's Office are urging the public to get in touch with any information about Camila Olmos' movements or whereabouts.

They said in a plea: "If you commute through this area or have dash cam or home surveillance footage that may have captured Camila — please contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 210-335-6000 or email [email protected]."
