With public cheating exposures making headline news, another has come to light as a police officer's affair with a teacher was exposed by his own bodycam.
The affair is between a Tennessee cop whose job was to teach the D.A.R.E. drug prevention program and a married school teacher.
This time it wasn't the jumbotron at a Coldplay concert that exposed the affair, but it was Lebanon Police Officer Brian Gilley’s bodycam that caught him as it picked up his flirty interactions with married school teacher, Shelby Moss, in her Castle Heights Elementary School classroom. The bodycam picked up a passionate kiss between the two before being interrupted by a student, Fox 17 reports.
To make matters even more complex, after the pair were caught, they confessed to having sexual interactions on school grounds.

The cop accepted that kids could have potentially been on campus at the time, which opens up a whole other can of worms within itself.

Gilley pleaded for leniency, admitting that he had 'done wrong' at his decertification hearing in April.
However, this didn’t quite work out in his favour as in May, he was stripped of his badge permanently, meaning he can no longer work in law enforcement.

William 'Chip' Kain, the executive secretary of the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Commission that voted to oust Gilley said: “You engaged in sexual activity at a school as an officer who was supposed to protect children.”
As for the married teacher? Shelby was suspended for two days from the Lebanon Special School District, but she later resigned in May. However, the Tennessee State Board of Education is still assessing whether she should lose her teaching license.
There’s no clear explanation as to why the bodycam was switched on at the point of the two were flirting.

However, it also picked up conversation between the two with Gilley telling Shelby: “You just complain I don’t touch you enough.”
This case is particularly sensitive due to the environment and duty of care the individuals had in a school setting, which could have led to kids witnessing inappropriate behaviour whilst in an educational setting.
After being interrupted by the student, it's reported that after the coast was clear, Shelby went over and gave the cop a big kiss.
“Oh God,” Gilley said as the two separated, “I’ll see you tomorrow,” he added as he went out the door.

It's also alleged that screenshots obtained by Fox 17 show the two sharing 'I Love You's'.
