A Pizza Hut customer was left surprised after receiving an unexpected message once her food had been delivered.

Now if you're expecting a delivery from somewhere then you might anticipate a reasonable amount of contact to allow the driver to do their job.

This could mean calling you on your phone to let you know they're outside your apartment building, for example.

However, once the pizza has been delivered then you probably wouldn't expect to hear anything else from them, right?

Well, for TikToker Kenya, who goes by the username @khopexox on the app, this was far from the case.

Kenya claimed that her Pizza Hut delivery driver had turned up and when he requested a tip she explained that she already left it online, and he left.

But 20 minutes after this, she allegedly received a text containing a picture of her Pizza Hut receipt showing no tip and a message asking if she really had tipped.

In the video, she said: "First of all, why are you on my f**king phone? Even if I didn't tell you why are you in my f**king phone texting me. But I did tip you."

Eventually, the mysterious messenger found that they had been tipped and said it was all fine, but Kenya wasn't done.

She continued: "I'm like, no, like, let's really get to the bottom of this. And I texted him again and I say, 'Is this my pizza delivery driver texting me'."

The reply claimed that the person texting her had been the 'Pizza Hut secretary'.

To which Kenya said: "The final text that I receive from this man. Is this the 'Pizza Hut secretary' really? Really I've laughed I've literally been dying laughing over that s**t all f**king day."

Social media users took to the comments to share their thoughts on the situation.

One wrote: "I couldn't even be mad after the secretary comment."

Another posted: "There's a place less than one mile from my house that I used to tip $5. The driver got upset last time. Never ordering them again."

A third joked: "Add him on cash app and request that s**t back."

One person also commented saying that this was definitely a step too far, writing: "Oh nah texting your phone after is crazy likeee does he do this to everyone making sure he gets his tip?"

Kenya replied: "Sooo weird and just blatantly not allowed."
