Police bodycam footage taken on the day of Lucy Harrison's death shows her father explaining his version of events to officers after fatally shooting his own child.
In January 2025, Lucy Harrison, from Cheshire, UK, had visited her dad at his home in Prosper, Texas, alongside her boyfriend Sam Littler.
On the day they was supposed to travel back to England, she ended up having a heated exchange with her father about Donald Trump.
Apparently Lucy and her dad, Kris Harrison, shared different political views and it wasn't uncommon for the pair to disagree on certain matters.

A recent inquest heard that Lucy and Kris had been discussing gun laws in America when Kris got out his gun to show her.
He alleges that the firearm then 'went off' by mistake, killing his 23-year-old daughter.
Police were called after the shooting and bodycam footage has now been made public.
Kris told the one of the officers: "We were getting ready to go to the airport and we were talking about guns. She said 'Have you got a gun?' and I said yes, I got it out and it just went off."
"She stood there as I pulled it out; it went off," he continued to recall. Kris also explained that he'd been keeping the gun in his bedside cabinet in a locked box.
After Lucy's death, police investigated it as a possible homicide but no criminal case was brought against Kris after a grand jury in Collin County declined to indict him because of insufficient evidence.
Meanwhile, during a recent inquest in the UK, a coroner ruled that the young woman had died due to unlawful killing on the grounds of gross negligence manslaughter, BBC News reported.

The coroner said: "To shoot her through the chest whilst she was standing would have required him to have been pointing the gun at his daughter, without checking for bullets, and pulling the trigger."
"I find these actions to be reckless," the added.
Kris was not present at the inquest but a lawyer speaking on his behalf said the he 'fully accepted' the consequences of his actions.
"There isn't a day I don't feel the weight of that loss, a weight I will carry for the rest of my life," part of his statement read.
Elsewhere in the inquest, the coroner noted that Kris had a history of alcohol abuse. He's believed to have been sober in the run up to Lucy's death, but on the day of the shooting Kris had admitted that he'd relapsed and drank 500ml of wine.
