Kamala Harris has spoken out against Donald Trump's attacking Iran alongside Israel.
US forces launched a series of strikes across multiple cities in Iran on February 28, with Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei confirmed to have died in the attacks.
The attacks have come after negotiations with Iran over its ongoing nuclear program failed to reach an agreement.
Trump had previously warned of taking military action against Iran if they could not make a deal.

Since the attacks, Iran has retaliated by launching missile and drone strikes against several middle eastern countries including Israel, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, which host US military assets.
Now, former Vice President Kamala Harris has condemned the US attacks, saying that she is opposed to a 'regime-change' war.

In a statement shared on X on Saturday, Harris said: “Let me be clear: I am opposed to a regime-change war in Iran, and our troops are being put in harm’s way for the sake of Trump’s war of choice.
“This is a dangerous and unnecessary gamble with American lives that also jeopardizes stability in the region and our standing in the world. What we are witnessing is not strength. It is recklessness dressed up as resolve.”
Harris went on to say that she understands the 'threat that Iran poses', and stressed that the country 'must never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon'.
However, she added that 'this is not the way to dismantle that threat.'
The former Vice President then called Trump a liar when he said he would prefer to 'end wars rather than start them'.

She said: “And let us all be clear-eyed about what comes next. The President has already said this conflict may produce American casualties…Our troops deserve a Commander-in-Chief who approaches decisions on matters of war and peace with the same steadiness and discipline our troops show every day. Under the Constitution of the United States, the President must receive authorization from Congress to enter a war."
She added: “There can be no equivocation in our opposition to Donald Trump’s war of choice, and Congress must use all available power to prevent him from further committing us to this conflict. Our troops, our allies, and the American people deserve nothing less.”
Trump previously said in a statement defending the strikes: "Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people.
"Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world."
