Jeffrey Epstein’s brother has insisted that the notorious sex offender didn’t kill himself following recent comments from the FBI director on the matter.
Convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York City following his arrest in 2019.
His body was found in August of that year while awaiting trial for charges related to sex trafficking. His death surprised the nation as he was one of the most high-profile prisoners in the US at the time.

The medical examiner ruled that the death was a suicide, and in a recent interview, FBI director Kash Patel reiterated this point - despite the ongoing rumors that Epstein didn’t kill himself.
Commenting on people not believing that Epstein committed suicide, Patel said while being interviewed on Fox News: “Well, I mean, listen - they have a right to their opinion, but as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor who's been in that prison system, who's been in the metropolitan detention center, who's been in segregated housing.
"You know a suicide when you see one, and that's what that was. He killed himself.”

Patel even followed up his comments with a post on Twitter saying: “I was asked about some of the details surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case. I have reviewed the case. Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. There’s no evidence in the case file indicating otherwise.
"I’m not asking you to believe me, or not. I’m telling you what exists, and what doesn’t. If new evidence surfaces I’m happy to reevaluate."
However, Epstein’s younger brother, Mark Epstein, has again taken issue with the ruling and even dismissed these comments from Patel.
Speaking to the Mail Online, Mark said: “[Patel] wasn’t there, he didn’t see the body, he didn’t see the autopsy. [He has] no idea what the f**k he’s talking about.”

As well as this, Mark also took aim at the then-Attorney General Bill Barr and called his explanation of his brother’s death ‘asinine and ludicrous’
Mark said: “So, Bill Barr came out and said he personally viewed the video and nobody went in or out of the tier [where Epstein was housed]. When I heard that I said this is cover up.
“There are six levels of security in that prison before you get to that tier. But there were 11 or 12 inmates on the tier. They would not have to go in or out of the tier to kill somebody in their cell. Supposedly cell doors were left locked.

"There's your answer. Somebody could've got in to Jeff's cell and killed him."
