Ahead of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding this weekend, a lawyer has revealed just how complicated the Amazon founder's reported prenuptial agreement could be.
Bezos and Sanchez have headed to Venice, Italy, for their rather lavish wedding after announcing their engagement in 2023.
This isn't the couple's first time at the altar, as both Bezos and Sanchez have been married before. The Blue Origin founder was previously married to Mackenzie Scott, while the former TV anchor's ex-husband is Patrick Whitesell.

It has been reported that the event has cost a whopping $56 million, and not only that, but a few famous faces have also been attending the celebrations, including actors Orlando Bloom and Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as President Trump's daughter, Ivanka, to name a few.

After all, he is the third richest man in the world, so forking out a few million likely isn't a problem - though people who saw the leaked wedding invites would say otherwise.
As of February this year, Bezos' current net worth is reported to be $263.8 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Reports have suggested that the two have signed a multi-million dollar prenup, and now a lawyer has given his opinion on what kind of prenup he thinks will be expected.
California lawyer Alphonse Provinziano spoke to RadarOnline earlier this month and he predicted that the supposed prenup will be 'ironclad' and have much of the same complexity seen in a business merger.
He said: "Jeff Bezos doesn’t just want a prenup, he wants a prenup that will survive any legal challenge.
"For someone as rich as Bezos, that means preparing documentation of the complex accounting arrangements and business deals he’s involved in so that she couldn’t later claim that he hid certain assets from her."

Due to the potentially complex nature of the alleged agreement, Provinziano added that Bezos is expected to give Sanchez and her lawyers plenty of time to go through a prenuptial agreement.
He concluded by saying: "All in all, it’s a lot of work for teams of lawyers."
The wedding has faced some opposition from Venetians residents, however, with plans having to reportedly be changed following threats from locals of inflatable crocodiles being placed in the canals.

According to the BBC, the ceremony was also planned to conclude at the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, but has since been changed to Arsenale - much to the delight of the protestors.
Tommaso Cacciari, who is from a group called 'No Space for Bezos', told the outlet: "We are very proud of this! We are nobodies, we have no money, nothing!
"We're just citizens who started organising and we managed to move one of the most powerful people in the world - all the billionaires - out of the city."
UNILAD has contacted Bezos and Sanchez's representatives for comment.
