Iranian state TV airs chilling threat against Barron Trump and references $10 million bounty

Iranian state television has aired a direct and threatening segment targeting President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son, Barron Trump, alleging that his daily movements are being tracked while promoting a reported $10 million reward.

The three-minute piece, broadcast on the Islamic Republic’s state-run Channel 3 and circulated by media networks affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), ran under the Persian title translated as “Where and how should we kill Barron Trump?”.

The segment relied on computer-generated graphics and stylized maps purporting to track Barron’s routines, university surroundings, and security motorcades.

The broadcast represents an escalation in public messaging from Tehran, shifting explicit threats from senior political and military officials directly onto a member of the president’s immediate family.

According to monitoring reports from Iran International and international outlets including RadarOnline and WION, the program attempted to construct a detailed blueprint of the 20-year-old’s daily life.

Visuals included depictions of New York University dormitories—where Barron is enrolled—alongside theoretical vantage points and the positions of Secret Service protection agents assigned to his detail. The broadcast also made unsubstantiated claims regarding his personal digital habits, alleging that analysts had obtained access to his online gaming accounts and private communications on platforms like Xbox.

The narrator concluded the segment by framing a $10 million bounty on his life, delivering a chilling closing line: "This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us".

Intelligence and media analysts have stressed that there is no independent evidence indicating any physical breach of security or operational tracking, describing the broadcast primarily as state-sponsored psychological warfare designed for domestic and geopolitical posturing.

Pattern of Threats Against the Trump Family

The targeting of Barron Trump is part of a broader sequence of media campaigns originating from IRGC-affiliated outlets. Just weeks earlier, state-linked media published a similar video titled “Where to Kill Melania?”, which mapped out First Lady Melania Trump’s movements around luxury retail locations in Manhattan.

Additionally, state-sponsored propaganda billboards depicting the Trump family over flag-draped coffins were recently displayed in Tehran’s public squares.

US authorities have maintained heightened security postures around Donald Trump and his inner circle following documented retaliation plots linked to the 2020 US drone strike that killed Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani.

Federal prosecutors in the United States have previously secured indictments and convictions in related schemes, including murder-for-hire plots targeting former National Security Advisor John Bolton and political leaders.

Both Barron and Melania Trump receive round-the-clock protective details from the US Secret Service. While the agency does not comment on specific protective intelligence operations, officials routinely review foreign broadcast threats, digital propaganda, and open-source materials targeting protectees to adjust security protocols accordingly.
