Haliey Welch a.k.a. the Hawk Tuah woman has shared a song she's come up with to explain her sudden viral fame to her grandma.

Unless you've been lucky enough to avoid all the Hawk Tuah noise the last couple of months, you'll be aware of a video that's been circulating social media showing Haliey reveal what move she has in her locker to make a man go crazy in the bedroom.

Yep, you guessed it, 'Hawk Tuah'.

Unfortunately, for the 21-year-old, there are certain downsides which come with viral fame, including how to explain the sudden change of circumstance to one's grandma.

Thankfully, Haliey teamed up with American singer-songwriter Jax - Jacqueline Cole Miskanic Gregg - who you may recognize from the fourteenth season of American Idol, to create a song to explain what 'Hawk Tuah' really means.

Playing the keyboard, Jax begins: "This is Haliey and she went to The University of Northern Alabama but she had to drop out to pay the bills and take care of my grandma.

"And she then she went viral, so she made some cash but Granny keeps asking her what Hawk Tuah means... So we wrote this song for Haliey's grandma."

Haliey adds: "To explain myself to the elderly."

And the song only gets better from here - depending on how you look at it - as Haliey and Jax come up with an explanation as to what the phrase 'Hawk Tuah' really stands for.

While most of us probably think we know what 'Hawk Tuah' means after having seen Haliey add 'spit on that thang' in the original viral video, apparently, the phrase has several other - much more PG - meanings now too.

The song continues: "Hawk Tuah means being selfless. Hawk Tuah means you care. Hawk Tuah is another word for hard work like rollin' up your sleeves and tying back your hair.

"Hawk Tuah means love and affection. Hawk Tuah means we in a recession, Grandma. Stop asking so many questions."

And it's not taken long for people to flood to the comments to weigh in.

One Instagram user said: "Lmfao omg hilarious."

"Tying back your hair. jail," another added.

A third commented: "This is adorable."

"Dead," a fourth wrote.

And a fifth resolved: "Love it."

Haliey recently revealed the one thing she's 'scared' of happening when she goes out in public.

Speaking to KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O show last week she said: "I'm paranoid of getting kidnapped or something. I'm very paranoid about that. And I'm little too, so I can't really defend myself with big people or nothing like that."

So, what do you think?
