Elon Musk has been accused of attempting to incite a riot in the UK after making chilling civil war predictions.
It’s been a rollercoaster year for the world's richest man.
After briefly taking charge of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in January, the billionaire entrepreneur left his post dramatically months later after a very public fallout with President Donald Trump.
Musk claimed the 79-year-old POTUS' name appeared in the redacted Epstein files - only for his own name to crop up, although he vehemently denies any wrongdoing.

But just when you thought he had parked his political ambitions, the Tesla CEO sparked outrage online after predicting a civil war in the UK - and rather than questioning 'if' it will, he's asserting that it will.

The SpaceX boss has repeatedly taken aim at British politics, blasting Prime Minister Keir Starmer and calling safeguarding minister Jess Phillips a 'rape genocide apologist'.
Now, Musk’s latest outburst has once again landed him in hot water - not that he cares.

"Civil war in Britain is inevitable. Just a question of when," he told his 228.5 million followers on X.
The post references growing political tensions and heated debates around immigration - but Brits have been quick to correct Musk's narrative.
"It seems you have not been in Britain lately," another began. "It is ridiculous to make such wild and unfounded claims about a civil war, and it undermines your credibility on all levels. Britain is doing fine."

With a second adding: "It doesn't matter how many times you assert this Elon, you won't make it happen."
While another hit back: "No one in Britain has guns and the left/right divide is basically conservative retirees vs everyone else. You could end the kind of civil war Musk wants with a stiff breeze."
While some dismissed Musk’s words as typical online chaos, others fear that when someone with his reach and influence makes statements like this, the consequences could be far from harmless.

Over on Reddit, a user questioned why the UK government isn't doing more to prevent Musk from stoking the fire.
Speaking of his comments, they wrote: "How is this okay and why isn’t our government doing more to address this type of incitement?"
Yes, it would seem Musk's time in politics is far from over - having previously announced plans to launch his own 'America Party' to challenge both Democrats and Republicans.
As for civil war breaking out in the UK... it seems rather unlikely.
