Sean 'Diddy' Combs has penned a handwritten letter to Donald Trump requesting a pardon for his crimes.
Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for charges related to prostitution following a federal investigation against the rapper.
This involved raids on properties owned by Combs, and has since seen in documentaries which go into horrifying detail about his past.
Combs was convicted of two counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution, but a jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Now, Trump has revealed that Combs sent him a handwritten letter requesting a presidential pardon, in an extraordinary act from the disgraced musician.
Photos from the 1990s show Trump and Combs attending events together as Combs' fame reached its pinnacle.

Trump has said that after considering the letter that he received, he has decided that he will not grant Combs' request.

The US president has previously accused Combs of making 'nasty statements' about him during his 2016 presidential campaign.
Speaking to the media about Combs in 2025, Trump said: "I haven't seen him, I haven't spoken to him for years... I don't know. I would certainly look at the facts.
"If I think somebody was mistreated it wouldn't matter whether they like me or don't.
"I got along with him great. Seemed like a nice guy. I didn't know him well. But when I ran for office, he was very hostile. ... It's hard."

He added: "We're human beings. We don't like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements.
"So, I don't know. It's more difficult. Makes it more, I'm being honest, makes it more difficult to do."

News reports have indicated that Combs sent Trump the letter last month, which the New York Times reported as being a request for a pardon.

Combs sent the letter less than three months into serving his term in prison.
When reporters asked Trump for more information about Combs' request he said: "Oh, would you like to see the letter?"
The New York Times later noted that Trump did not end up producing the letter to show it.
Combs' request has come as Trump is facing growing scrutiny after he was pictured in several images with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump has not been convicted of any crime in relation to his association with Epstein, but the images have led to growing calls for clarity about his relationship with Epstein.
