Donald Trump has issued a blunt five-word response after revealing what he really thinks about his former best buddy Elon Musk.
Musk was a huge part of the POTUS' election campaign, and Trump later recruited the Tesla founder to the role of head of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) upon his return to the White House.
Musk remained in the role up until very recently, but things have since turned sour between the president and the billionaire.

The pair's feud stems from Trump's 'Big Beautiful Bill', with Musk dubbing it an 'abomination'.
Dismissing that suggestion, Trump said he was 'disappointed' in the tech mogul and insisted that Musk knew the ins-and-outs of the bill before his departure from government.
Musk later took to Twitter alleging that the president is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files, with the White House hitting back once more stating it's an 'unfortunate episode from Elon'.

Speaking to CNN, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said: "This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The President is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again."
The president spoke to the New York Post on Friday (June 6) and issued a blunt five-word response amid the ongoing feud with Musk.
"Nothing catches me by surprise." Trump told the outlet.
He added: "The numbers are through the roof, the stock market is up, billions are pouring in from tariffs, and my poll numbers are the highest they’ve ever been. Other than that, what can I tell you, right?"

Trump has reiterated Musk knew everything about the bill, so the recent outburst by Musk has likely caught him out a bit.
Nonetheless, the Republican leader seems to have full confidence in the bill.
The president added: "He knew the bill as well as anybody. The bill is great. It’s going to pass, but the bill is great, and it’s going [to] be great for everybody, including him.

"And you see it now. And take a look at what happened today with the job numbers. They’re through the roof, and the stock market’s up already 600 points."
Leavitt has since spoken further on the feud on Fox News' Hannity.
When asked about the tensions between Trump and Musk, she shared: "Just days ago, Elon thanked the president for his incredible leadership to cut waste and fraud in our government, which this one big beautiful bill does."
The press secretary added: "The only difference between Friday and today is Elon went back to his companies and as a businessman, he has a right to speak for his companies, but as president, President Trump has a responsibility to fight for this country."
