Donald Trump has reflected on how 'terrible' the fatal shooting of Renee Good has been, by highlighting her dad's alleged 'love' of MAGA.
On January 7, Renee Nicole Good was fatally shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jonathan Ross. The 37-year-old mom-of-three had just dropped her six-year-old off at school in Minneapolis.
Her partner, Rebecca Good, detailed they'd returned home to find ICE agents swarming their neighbors, and so they stopped to 'support' them, she told Minnesota Public Radio.
Good was there as a legal observer of ICE activities, but a confrontation with officers led to Good being shot three times by Ross.
And yesterday, (January 20), on the one year anniversary since he became president of the United States for the second time, Trump took a moment to reflect on Good and her family.
During a press conference at the White House, Trump said he 'felt horribly' when he was 'told' about 'the young woman' and reflected on her killing as a 'tragedy'.
What Donald Trump has said about Renee Good
Trump told reporters: "It's a horrible thing. Everybody would say – ICE would say the same thing."
The POTUS went on to explain he learned Good's parents, 'and her father in particular,' was 'a tremendous Trump fan' - which the president added he 'hope[s] he still is,' but 'doesn't know'.
Bumbling away, Trump continued: "He was all for Trump. Loved Trump. And it's terrible. I was told that by a lot of people."

He resolved: "It's so sad. It just happens."
Trump's admission of feeling 'horribly' follow comments he made to The New York Times earlier this month branding Good as 'behav[ing] horribly'. He also described Good as a 'professional agitator' in a separate interview, but then also went on to say she was probably a 'very solid, wonderful person,' to CBS News.
Good's family has also spoken out since the tragedy.

In a letter shared with USA Today, the family said: "We want to thank everyone who has reached out in support of Renee and our family. The kind of unending care we’ve been given during this time is exactly the kind that she gave to everyone.
"Nae was the beautiful light of our family and brought joy to anyone she met. She was relentlessly hopeful and optimistic which was contagious. We all already miss her more than words could ever express."
In a statement to The Guardian, Good's sister-in-law Jess Fletcher emphasized: "There’s been so much hateful rhetoric back and forth, and what’s been missed is painting a picture of who Renee was."
