A cause of death for the paranormal investigator who died while touring the country with the infamous and allegedly haunted ‘Annabelle’ doll has been revealed as 'cardiac issues'.
Dan Rivera died suddenly aged 54 on July 13 while touring in in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, as part of his sold-out and infamous 'Devils on the Run Tour'.
Emergency services rushed to Rivera's hotel after he wrapped up the show, reports the Evening Sun, and arrived at around 8pm to perform CPR.
However, Rivera was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene despite the best efforts of paramedics to try and save the father of four.

The paranormal investigator made a name for himself having appeared on Travel Channel's notorious Most Haunted Places.
Also part of the US army at one point in his life, the man from Bridgeport, Connecticut, worked as a producer on other shows he was involved with, including Netflix's 28 Days Haunted.
Francis Dutrow, the Adams County coroner, confirmed on Thursday (September 4) that Rivera's death was cardiac-related and his passing was ruled as natural.

"Mr. Rivera had a known history of cardiac issues, which were consistent with the findings. It is also confirmed that Annabelle was not present in the room at the time of his passing," the coroner said.
A report from Pennsylvania State Police detailed the conditions in which Rivera was found in July.
"Members from PSP Gettysburg responded to a hotel in Straban Township, Adams County for a report of a deceased [man]. The decedent was discovered in his hotel room by workers," the report stated.
"Nothing unusual or suspicious was observed at the scene."
