Disturbing footage of convicted killer Bryan Kohberger has allegedly been leaked depicting him pacing around his cell with red hands.

The criminology graduate was sentenced to four consecutive life sentences last month in connection to the cold-blooded killings of Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves, both aged 21, as well as 20-year-olds Ethan Chapin and Xana Kernodle, in 2022.

On November 13 of that year, the students were all found dead in their off-campus home they shared in Moscow, Idaho, that they shared with roommates Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke - who were home at the time the horror unfolded.

The suspect initially pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, however, a plea deal saw him admit to the murders, which has resulted in him avoiding the death penalty.

The plea agreement meant Kohberger was sentenced to ten years for the burglary charge, as well as four consecutive life sentences on the four first-degree murder counts.

Now, chilling footage has been released that show the killer walk over to a shelf in his cell before slowly placing something on it before staring at his hands - which he is rumored to wash multiple times each day, leaving them red and irritated.

The source of the video is now being investigated by officials at Idaho Maximum Security Institution - the prison where he's being held in Kuna, which is roughly a 20-minute drive from Boise in Idaho.

Idaho Department of Correction said in a statement issued on Friday (August 15): "We are aware of the videos circulating online and are investigating the matter.

"While we cannot yet confirm the veracity of the videos, if verified, they are a clear violation of IDOC policy and the parties responsible will be held accountable, up to and including termination. We caution that some videos may be fake or AI-enhanced.

"On July 23 and again on July 25, IDOC leadership sent two emails to staff reminding them of our policies and expectations concerning professionalism and the appropriate use of technology and social media.

"Videotaping and publicly sharing security footage is prohibited conduct and we will be reviewing all legal options, including criminal prosecution.

"The safety and security of our staff and incarcerated population remain our top priority."

It comes just days after the crazed murderer complained to prison staff about being 'taunted' by other inmates.

"We are aware of Kohberger’s complaints about what he considers taunting," the department said in a statement issued to NBC News.

"Incarcerated individuals commonly communicate with each other in prison. Bryan Kohberger is housed alone in a cell, and IDOC security staff maintain a safe and orderly environment for all individuals in our custody."
