Brady Tkachuk has spoken out after the White House shared an AI-generated video of him to TikTok where he made derogatory remarks about Canada.
Team USA's men's hockey team won the final game at the recent Winter Olympics, beating their Canadian rivals to take home gold.
The extremely tense match ended 2-1 in America's favor, with Jack Hughes losing his front teeth in the process.
Team USA's women's team also proved victorious for their country and won gold. As a result of doing so they were invited to the White House to celebrate, but they declined Trump's invite following his joke about only inviting them so he wouldn't face impeachment.

Away from the apparent drama with the women's team and Trump, the White House has also ruffled the feathers of the men's team; one player in particular.
Following their success last week, the White House shared an AI clip of Brady Tkachuk to TikTok where he says: "They booed our national anthem, so I had to come out and teach those maple-syrup-eating [expletive] a lesson. Canada, we own you little bro."
The video was captioned with 'Silver does NOT shine just as bright'.
People online were quick to react to the video, and they weren't terribly impressed.
"Keeping it classy as per usual," one wrote. A second penned: "The WHITE HOUSE is posting AI deepfakes???? Good lord pray for us."
Tkachuk has now spoken out about the controversial clip and pointed out that it's clearly artificial intelligence.
"Well, it's clearly fake, because it's not my voice, not my lips moving," he said, per BBC Sport.
"I'm not in control of any of those accounts," Tkachuk added. "I know that those words would never come out of my mouth, so I can't do anything about it.
"It's not what I was saying. I would never say that. It's not who I am. So I guess I don't like that video."
UNILAD have approached the White House for comment.

The next Winter Olympics will take place in 2030 and will be hosted in the French Alps. This year's Games was made up of eight core sports encompassing 16 different disciplines, but two of these might be axed in four years time.
The sports that make not make a comeback are snowboard parallel giant slalom (PGS) and the Nordic combined events.
The consideration about dropping them comes after these particular events brought in limited TV audiences at Milano Cortina 2026.
