A British teacher has told her side of the story after being fired for her raunchy OnlyFans profile that parents deemed inappropriate.
Kirsty Buchan, 34, had to leave her role at Bannerman High School in Glasgow, Scotland, after students discovered her profile - which described herself as a 'good teacher gone bad'.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, the former teacher revealed why she joined the platform and how much money it helped bring in.

She said: "I'm a mom at the end of the day, my son comes first, paying my bills comes first.
"I spoke to my son before doing it, he's 14 now. I'd used a different name, I've got my moniker Jessica Jackrabbit."
Before joining OnlyFans, Buchan explained that she was struggling to cover a series of expenses as a single mom on her teaching salary while also dealing with her mother and son being unwell. The ex-teacher also revealed she'd made close to an impressive '£60k' in one month.
She was also pressed by the TV hosts on whether she had fears about her profile being discovered.

Buchan said: “I didn't think I would be caught, a lot of people pretend to be teachers on the site, I didn't think I would be famous.
"We all need to take responsibility, of course I knew the risks involved."

The 34-year-old also addressed the concerns from parents and viewers who believe a teacher working as an adult content creator is inappropriate.

Buchan noted that they are entitled to their opinion but that she also wasn’t going to shy away from the responsibility of her actions. She also said she has received support despite being fired.
A disciplinary hearing was held for the teacher after her profile was discovered back in 2022 and reported to the headteacher Seonaidh Black.

They were told that Buchan was ‘posing in lingerie’ and images were handed over by students. Her profile appeared to be easily accessible and required no fee or sign-up.

Buchan did not attend the hearing.
She claimed: "I've had only support. Messages of support from all my old colleagues and schoolkids.
"I worked hard to get respect from them and build a positive relationship.
"What I've taught is, your pictures can go out there. I'm not saying do this, I worked really hard to be a teacher. I went to university, two jobs while being a single mother... I had to do this for extra money."
