An English Twitch streamer has been accused of scamming people for staggering amounts of money.

Fellow streamers and followers claim that the streamer in question, ItsSliker, has taken huge amounts of money from them.

Sliker, who has an impressive 434k followers on Twitch, has since responded to the claims.

The Twitch streamer has come under fire for allegedly 'scamming' people out of money.

This isn't the first run-in with bad behaviour that the Twitch streamer has had as the latest controversy follows a separate ban from the platform after 'accidentally' copying over an explicitly graphic emote during his livestream.

Last Saturday (17 September), waves of individuals came forward to claim that Sliker 'scammed' them for thousands after lying about the real reason he was borrowing money off them.

Streamers have started sharing videos of Sliker asking them for varying amounts of money for a host of differing reasons.

One streamer, mikelpee, posted a Twitch video where Sliker asked for financial help due to his bank account getting 'locked'.

Another, lukeafk, shared Twitch video in which he admitted: "I lost $27k from giving a lend to Sliker. I thought I could trust him and I guess I just couldn't.

A third, Trainwreckstv, opened up on the matter too: "I gave him a lot of money.

"It was two increments [...] That first one was like $45k I think. Two months later, same story."

The claims have since caused a storm on Twitter, where many others are coming forward and responding to the situation.

Sliker has since uploaded a 20-minute video to his Twitch streaming platform introducing the video with: "I never knew this day would come," he said while crying, "It's time for the truth."

"I didn't know what to do.

"I lied to people. I lied to so many individuals out there.

"So, if you haven't heard, I borrowed money off people.

"What I did was horrible, lying to multiple, multiple people out there."

"To the people watching, I know I'll never be able to ask for forgiveness.

"It's so hard to say this, I'm not going to lie."

The Twitch streamer then opened up about his history of gambling, saying: "I'd come across streamers and ask them if I could borrow money.

"My initial thoughts were 'I will be paying them back'," he added before revealing, "I never intended in scamming anyone and I will still pay off the people I owe."

He added: "What I did was horrible, lying to multiple, multiple people out there."

ItsSliker declined to comment further on the matter.
