A woman has detailed her health woes after her ex farted in her face several years ago.
Farts can happen when you least expect them, and this is what happened to this woman whose then-partner farted near her face. He was reportedly climbing into bed at the time when he accidentally let one rip.
Christine - known as @christinexploring on social media - took to TikTok to share her experience and the ongoing issues it has caused her.

"I realized that my ex-boyfriend got the best possible break-up revenge that anyone could ever get," she began the video.
"I’ve had a persistent sinus infection ever since he and I stayed in a hotel one night after I had surgery and he farted terribly."
"I couldn't breathe," Christine further recalled of the incident from her romance from seven years ago.

Since then she has suffered with ongoing sinus infections and both she and doctors struggled to work out what was causing them.
"Doctors haven't been able to figure it out," Christine continued, before revealing what's been causing it.
"It's E.coli and you don't usually get E.coli your sinuses because E.coli is from poop," she said. "I don't know how that gets near your sinuses unless you have a boyfriend farts disgustingly and you're forced to inhale it because you are immobile after ankle surgery."

In a follow-up video, Christine divulged more details about the crappy ordeal and suggested that had she not been recovering from surgery at the time, the fart - which she said was 'the worst fart I have ever smelled in my life' - might not have affected her as badly as it did.
"I had just had ankle surgery that I was recovering from, so I imagine that my immune system was focused on healing that," Christine shared.
"Maybe in another circumstance, if I had been healthy, it wouldn’t have happened.
"And also, when I say it was the worst fart I have ever smelled in my life, I truly mean that."

If like Christine's ex you have particularly potent pumps, there are some foods that might help you out.
Chu Yao at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, told New Scientist that people should try eating more legumes; potatoes; bananas; cereals; wheat; artichokes; and asparagus if there farts are eggy in particular.
In regards to foods you should avoid, apparently eggs (obviously), fatty foods, onions, and dairy can be the cause of particularly odious trumps, says BBC News.
