Love him or hate him, this famous YouTuber has done a lot of good for those in need.

On a mission to help his community and to share his wealth, Jimmy Donaldson, more commonly known as MrBeast has made it his job to support people that truly need it.

Currently, the 25-year-old has posted seven videos to his channel this year showcasing how he’s given away around $1 million in cash in return for participants completing challenges and there’s no indication that he’ll stopping any time soon.

But the money isn’t gifted for superficial reasons, in fact he’s been known to present money to people who are in desperate need for vision and hearing correction surgeries so that they can have a better quality of life.

MrBeast has 169 million YouTube subscribers.

But you can’t please them all.

As most people can appreciate his ability to use money to build and uplift communities, others prefer to poke holes in his good deed by claiming that he is exploiting and misrepresenting disabled communities for ‘clout’.

But why would MrBeast give away around $1,037,215 million over a period of seven videos this year, or even the $3.2 million he gave away last year if he was aiming to exploit?

From being called out by other YouTubers to having drones of people leave online hate, it seems the man can’t catch a break.

There’s a reason that the American social media star has racked up 169 million YouTube subscribers, and it certainly wasn’t by getting clout.

For example, one of his most successful and viewed challenges this year was the ‘Ages 1-100 Fight For $500,000’ saw a hilarious Squid Game style set-up and a series of activities for the candidates to play.

MrBeast has been on YouTube for over a decade.

In the end, a 100-year-old man was awarded $10,000 for his participation which gained a lot of online love for the ‘wholesome moment’.

But that’s just one video in 2023 that viewers loved.

Another two videos featured MrBeast helping 1,000 blind and 1,000 deaf people to hear with the gift of hearing aids and $10,000 for most participants and jet skis for one elderly couple.

He also gifted over $170,000 and a Tesla to the blind patients.

After starting his career on YouTube in 2012, no one would have expected he'd become an incredible philanthropist before the age of twenty-five.

One fan of MrBeast gushed: "I think it’s safe to say that MrBeast is probably the best content creator on the platform right now. Good on him for doing all that he does."

Another said: "Thank you Mr. Beast for helping people who really need it."

While a third added: "The amount of people Jimmy has helped by his content absolutely incredible."

A final user penned: "Jimmy and his team are such good people thank you so much for doing what you do."

So, is he only doing it for clout?
