TikToker Ben Askins is back with another 'worst boss ever' and social media users' blood is boiling.

An employee was on agreed holiday when they received several messages from their boss asking them to look at a presentation with over 70 slides.

Titled 'Worst boss ever number 216', Ben Askins revealed the conversation on TikTok in a post shared last week.

The text from the boss begins: "Hey just a quick one, can you take a look at the presentation I just sent you, they need tidying up before the pitch tomorrow. Slides 73-78 in particular are the priority.

A few hours later and the conversation continues: "Did you see this message?" And, if you can even believe it, it only gets worse from there.

The employee replied reminding they were on holiday and had, in fact, only just got off the plane and were on their way to a booked Airbnb.

Despite the reminder, the boss ploughed on: "Yes I know but this is important. The meeting has been brought forward and we need to sort this out."

The employee tried to reason with their boss, noting not only did they have plans that evening, but they didn't bring their laptop with them anyway - I mean, it is a holiday after all.

Alas, the employer didn't quite have the same outlook, questioning: "You don't have your laptop? Why on earth not? Can you can find somewhere to jump online? It won't take long."

The employee stood firm and recommended asking another member of the team, reassuring they were sure someone would be around.

Once again, the boss was having none of it.

Complaining it would 'take too long to onboard them,' the boss at least uttered a 'please' - entering as Askins put it 'the begging stage'.

Good on the employee for sticking to their guns, simply firing back the facts they booked the holiday off 'months ago' and are with family too.

"I can't just abandon our plans to go looking for somewhere to work," they said.

The boss replied: "Right. Good to know where your priorities are."

And the mic drop moment from the employee? "Yes, it's with my family."

It's not taken long for other TikTokers to rain in.

One said: "78 slides...is it a flip book??"

"Just start making crazy requests back. 'Yea sure thing! Can you just get a full standing desk expedited to my location? I NEED it to work. Also I need you to doordash chipotle to me for lunch break'," another joked.

And a final simply resolved: "On holiday… why even answer… just turn it off."
