JD Vance slammed after making 'disgraceful' gesture in front of audience on live TV

It came shortly after President Trump's outburst to reporters

Vice President JD Vance has been criticised for making a 'disgraceful' gesture on TV.

Shortly after President Donald Trump dropped an NSFW word while chatting to reporters about the ongoing conflict in the Middle East on Tuesday (24 June), Vance used an inappropriate gesture while giving a hometown speech at a Republican dinner in Ohio.

“I know it’s not always easy to be a political candidate, trust me. In Washington, D.C. they have this thing, I think it means we’re No.1 in Washington, D.C.” Vance said before giving the middle finger.

“But all the pink-haired people throw up this sign and I think that means we’re no.1 right? I choose to take that as that symbol in Washington."

Take a look at the moment below:

People weren't so impressed over Vance's rude gesture, with one writing on Twitter: "Remember when the presidents and administrations weren't vulgar, set good manners for people across the world?"

While another said: "JD Vance and Trump are both a disgrace to America!!!"

A third added: "Between JD and President Trump, they are getting their point across today," as a fourth said: "JD Vance just threw up the MIDDLE FINGER live on national TV."

Vance's gesture comes as Trump gave a heated interview to press on Tuesday in regards to Iran and Israel's ongoing conflict, which the US has now waded into.

A reporter asked Trump what he thought about Iran allegedly violating the ceasefire agreement and whether they were still dedicated to finding peace.

Trump answered: “Yes, I do believe [Iran is still committed to peace]. They violated it but Israel violated it too."

He went on: “As soon as we made the deal Israel came out and dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen.

“I’m not happy with Israel, when I say you have 12 hours you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them. So I am not happy with them, I am not happy with Iran either but I am really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning.”

Reporters tried to ask the president more questions before he continued on with his rant.

He said: “We have basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f**k they are doing, do you understand that?”

It seems that the ceasefire between Israel and Iran is holding, with Trump later writing on Truth Social: "ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly 'Plane Wave' to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!"
