Donald Trump has talked about serving three terms as he addressed rumors about his future plans.
The president of the United States is currently serving his second time in office, but has joked many times about running for a third term.
Trump once refused to talk about the loopholes which could see him being able to run a third time, even though it is banned by the US constitution.

But US Representative Andy Ogles later suggested making a change to the 22nd Amendment to allow for him to run smoothly.
Anyway, former White House strategist and senior advisor to Trump in 2017, Steve Bannon said they might not need to 'amend the constitution' so Trump can go for three.
Oddly, Trump has said that he’s already completed three terms, at an appearance at a rally in Michigan to mark the first 100 days of his second term last month where when the crowd chanted 'three' in support of a third run, he responded: "Well, we actually already served three, if you count.

"But remember, I like the victories, I like the three victories which we absolutely had. I just don't like the results of the middle term."
Essentially, he was making a remark that the 2020 election was rigged - which saw him lose to Joe Biden.
But all of this talk of Trump’s teasing of the idea has got it into people’s heads that it could be a reality soon.
Has anyone asked him whether or not he wants to run again?

Because apparently, he has no interest, despite hinting that he might.
"I'll be an eight-year president, I'll be a two-term president. I always thought that was very important," Trump told NBC at the Meet the Press event on Sunday (May 4).
While he has claimed before that he is ‘not joking’ about wanting to serve a third term or longer, he went on to say that it was all to fuel the ‘fake news media’.

The Trump Organization was also selling ‘Trump 2028’ hats to continue the charade.
He shared that people have asked him to run again, but it’s not what he wants to do.
"So many people want me to do it," Trump said. "It's something that, to the best of my knowledge, you're not allowed to do. I don't know if that's constitutional that they're not allowing you to do it or anything else.”

Online, people had mixed thoughts on this, with one person stating he was contradicting himself, while another wrote: "This isn’t what he was saying before but either way we’re thankful…."
He added that ‘there are many people selling the 2028 hat’, but ‘this is not something I'm looking to do’.
So, there’s your answer. Trump has no plans to run again, and to be honest, with the way his statistics are looking, it seems like many do not want Trump to run again either.
Trump's latest approval ratings were published by the Pew Research Center, which revealed that only 40 percent of poll participants approve of Trump's performance in office.
