
President Donald Trump has hit out at political activist Greta Thunberg, calling her 'crazy' and a 'troublemaker'.
It comes after the 22-year-old was deported from Israel alongside 170 other activists, who took part in the Gaza flotilla.
Some 479 people were apprehended on board 42 boats which made up the Global Sumud Flotilla, and so far 341 of those have been deported with the rest still held by Israel.

The Swedish activist raised her fist to cheers at the airport in Athens and was presented with flowers, however not everyone is a fan of Thunberg.
The POTUS has slammed her as a 'troublemaker' for getting involved with the flotilla, which aimed to 'break the illegal siege on Gaza by sea, open a humanitarian corridor, and end the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people'.

Trump was speaking to the press in the Oval Office when a reporter asked him his thoughts about Israel arresting and deporting activists, where many campaigners have alleged they received ill-treatment.

He didn't hold back when he responded, taking aim at Thunberg in particular: "She's just a troublemaker... she's no longer into the environment now."
Trump repeated: "She's a troublemaker, she has an anger management problem, I think she should see a doctor..."
He continued: "Have you ever watched her? She's a young person. She's so angry, she's so crazy... She's just a troublemaker."
Greta has replied on Instagram after hearing about the President's comments.

"I heard Donald Trump once again has expressed his very flattering opinions on my character, and I appreciate his concerns for my mental health," she wrote.
"To Trump: I would kindly receive any recommendations you might have to deal with these so called 'anger management problems' since - judging by your impressive track record - you seem to be suffering from them too."
Israel's foreign ministry posted on X that 'the deportees were citizens of Greece, Italy, France, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Austria, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Switzerland, Norway, the UK, Serbia, and the United States'.
During the same press conference, Trump shared his thoughts about peace in Gaza and talked about particular countries who have been helpful: "Qatar has been very, very helpful to us in this process... I think it's probably the most influential and very strong."

"With Hamas, they're very strong. And Turkey has likewise been helpful, I mean, honestly, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, everybody has been helpful," he added.
"I just spoke with the King of Jordan today, and he's been terrific too, I can't think of any country is it that's been negative about this. This is why it should happen."
Trump finished by insisting: "I mean, everybody wants it to happen. And usually when everybody, including I think Hamas, when they want it to happen, it's going to happen."
