Mystery of bright pink McLaren that hasn't moved from outside hotel in four years may finally have been solved

It has been there so long the front of the hotel looks weird without it

The reason why a pink McLaren has been parked outside a hotel for years may have finally been uncovered after the public continued to be puzzled and intrigued by it.

If you live in a big city, every now and again you might come across a really luxurious or expensive car, if you are lucky.

But in London, there is one place people know they can go to catch a glimpse of a gorgeous, bright pink super car in the city.

Some residents will tell you that the pink McLaren 570 has been parked outside the extravagant five-star St Pancras Renaissance Hotel for four years straight.

And it is hard to argue with the point, if you do end up in the UK’s capital, if you head by that hotel, chances are you will see it parked alone right in front of the building.

After a while, people started to question, well...why on Earth is the flashy car out in front and why does it always seem to be there?

TikToker Gabby (@SoggySpin4ch) shared a video of the vehicle, writing: "When will this pink car move? This car has been here the whole pandemic."

Yeah... people suspect it's been here since the start of the pandemic back in late 2019, early 2020.

"Omg yea! It hasn’t moved and I’ve been walking past here a few times over the last couple of years," one person commented.

"Wait… I walked past this like seven months ago… IT’S STILL THERE?"

As a third said: "I literally live in Oxford and whenever I come to London see this car."

One user claimed to actually work in the hotel and gave an explanation about the car.

They commented: "I actually work at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the McLaren is owned by one guest who permanently moved into the hotel near the start of the pandemic because he was having trouble getting back to his country."

While some people called BS, others argued it made perfect sense and was more than plausible.

UK newspaper, Metro called the hotel and was able to verify what the alleged worker said, and amazingly it seems they were telling the truth. Imagine that... someone not on social media and is not just making stuff up.

A member of staff told the publication: “It belongs to a man who is renting one of the apartments upstairs.

“He has been living there for a number of years, we’re not sure who he is.

“Every time we walk past it, I just think what a car, and how lucky he must be to drive it.

“He does go out in it from time to time.”

For understandable reasons, the staff member wasn’t able to give any personal details about the owner, but this part of the mystery is at least solved.
