An influencer revealed why she gave her child a 'Hunger Games-style' name after fans were left divided.
Choosing a baby name is a hugely personal choice, and there's really no right or wrong when it comes to which moniker you should go for.
While some parents prefer more traditional monikers, others opt for modern, quirky options instead.
One influencer, musician Rydel Funk, caused a bit of a divide on her social media when she revealed her youngest's name.

Rydel welcomed her daughter last year, and shared her name online.

The mom-of-four named her daughter Sugar Lover, with her full name reading as Sugar Lover Funk.
Rydel explained: "Sugar Lover Girl is what my daddy has called me my entire life so basically he named her haha passing on my nickname to my baby Sugar!"
People were quick to comment, with many divided over the name.
One person said: "Sugar is a great nickname. It's perfect for TV characters like Sugar Berzatto from 'The Bear' and Sugar from 'Sugar Rush'.
"Calling your actual human child Sugar is not it, but it wouldn't be the worst name on this list without the combo of Lover."
Another added: "Why, as a parent, would you name your child Sugar Lover."
While a third wrote: "So I guessed Sugar would be a name possibility but Sugar Lover?!"
And someone else commented: "Every day we draw closer to the hunger games being a reality."

Rydel has four children whose names are Super, Sweetie and Storm.
Some believe the names could be fake monikers to protect their privacy, with one writing: "I hope these are just names they use for social media. Sometimes I think influencers just pick crazy names online for the drama, but then have different legal names to give them some privacy. At least, one can hope."
UNILAD has reached out to Rydel for comment.

Babycenter recently looked at which names in the top 1,000 plummeted between 2024 and 2025, discovering some pretty interesting findings.
It found that names with unique spellings are becoming less popular, as well as monikers inspired by places.
Names beginning with D and K, as well as those ending in Y, are also said to be on the downward trend.
The experts also predicted which names are likely to be extinct within the next year, and some are pretty surprising.
These include girls' names such as: Charleigh, Mckinley, Prisha, Ezra, Sasha, Mía, Kenna, Kori, Dior and Shaikha.
Meanwhile, top boys' names that could disappear include: Kylian, Atharv, Enoch, Crue, Huxley, Salman, Camilo, Advik, Emmitt and Garrett.
