If, for some reason, you fancy engaging in a bit of me time straight after chowing down on your dinner, one medic has given the low down on what could happen.
While there's a time and place to get saucy between the sheets, the last thing the majority of folks will have on their minds after a meal is to masturbate.
I mean, who's got the energy after stuffing their face with an evening meal?

I think we're all aware masturbation is good for you due to the fact it releases several feel-good hormones, including dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins.
And various studies have found these hormones play a crucial role in reducing stress and improving overall mental wellbeing.
But are there any differences that happen to the body depending on when you have a bit of 'me time'?

Well, the discussion surrounding whether masturbating after eating became the topic of conversation on an 'Ask A Doctor' forum.
Responding to one woman's question about whether it is safe to masturbate straight after an evening meal, Dr. Nishikant Shrotri wrote: "Masturbation practice need not be correlated with food intake in general.
"If you are doing clitoral or labial masturbation, it should not cause any digestive disturbance at all. However, if you are using dildo and performing vaginal masturbation vigorously, it becomes like a vigorous exercise.
"We usually avoid vigorous exercise immediately after food. You may wait for about 4 hours when the stomach gets empty, for vigorous masturbation."

The health expert added: "However, most of the vigorous sexual intercourses are happening at night within an hour or two after dinner; and they are all without any digestive disturbances.
"If you are observing some digestive disturbances by masturbation immediately after food, you may wait for about 4 hours."
The gist of it is that you'll generally be fine masturbating after eating, but could experience some mild indigestion if you do it too soon after your last meal.
Alongside this, many will have to consider whether it's a good thing to masturbate every day.

Intimacy educator Leeza Mangaldas detailed such in a video uploaded to her YouTube channel.
She said: "How much masturbation is too much masturbation? There is no single one-size-fits-all answer for this, you get to decide.
"Some people may enjoy masturbating everyday, some people once a week, once a month, once a year, not at all.

"Most of us just feel guilty about masturbating at all and so we can constantly think like, 'oh my gosh we're doing this too much' - even if we're actually doing it very infrequently."
The expert added: "I think it's just important to keep in mind that as long as it's not getting in the way of any activities, like school or work, or your family obligations, and as long as you're not injuring yourself - maybe you can cut back?
"But it's good to keep things in perspective and figure out for yourself what feels good for you."
