There is not much better than free food is there? In a modern day where food is pretty expensive with the cost of living crisis, we are really going to take everything that we can get.

You'll often find free food at events if you are lucky, though it is often that small it hardly touches the side.

However, this particular promotion from Domino's is surely one of the better ones we've heard in sometime.

But before you get crazy thinking about free pizza, it's important to remember it is only eligible to anyone with student loan payments.

As part of its emergency pizza promotion, Domino's Pizza is giving away a whopping $1 million worth of pizzas to those who are eligible.

Kate Trumbull, Domino's senior vice president and chief brand officer, said in a press release: "Student loan payments have resumed for millions of Americans, and we wanted to help in our own little way by using the power of pizza to do something nice for our customers.

"When life gives you loans, Domino's gives you free pizza!"

That's how the quote goes right?

Domino's Emergency Pizzas for Student Loans is actually an extension to Domino's Emergency Pizzas program, where customers who still have student loan payments have the chance to apply for one free medium two-topping pizza.

However, it should be worth noting that this is while supplies last.

In a promotion that started yesterday (25 October), Domino's is giving away a limited number of free Emergency Pizza for Student Loans codes each day, that is until all $1 million worth of pizza has been claimed.

So how do you go about claiming you free pizza if you are eligible?

Well, the pizza chain says that you have to first have to complete an application.

Customers can do this by:

  • Visiting dominos.com/student-loans.
  • Applying for a free Emergency Pizza for Student Loans.
  • Customers must verify the email address they provide.
  • If codes are available on that day, Domino's will send customers an email with the free pizza code, which they can redeem on their next online carryout or delivery order placed within the next 30 days.
  • To redeem the free pizza code for a delivery order, the customer must meet the store's delivery minimum requirements.

So if you want some free pizza, best get ordering now before it's all gone.

In other news from the world of Domino's, one delivery driver for the chain has sparked debate after she broke down how much she makes from tips.
