Bam Margera has shared photos from his hospital bed after he went missing recently.

The former Jackass star's brother Jess put out an urgent appeal last weekend after he disappeared, and asked his followers to help track him down.

Taking to social media, he said they were 'running out of time'.

"If anyone in the LA area knows of Bams [sic] current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately," the musician wrote.

"I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time.

“If you guys could retweet this that would be really cool of you.

“Thanks for your help."

Fortunately, in the end, Jess and the rest of Bam's family managed to find him.

Updating fans, Jess wrote: “They found him safe. He texted me and my parents at 6 am this morning saying he loves us he loves Phoenix and he is ‘at peace’ and that he took enough pills to stop his heart.

“And some really heartbreaking dark s**t.

“Thanks to everyone who shared info today.”

Following the ordeal, Bam, who has battled addiction for a number of years, was taken to hospital to start his recovery.

And now, photos have been shared of the 43-year-old lying in bed, with former basketball player Lamar Odon - who runs the rehab center where he is being cared for - sitting by his side.

Another photo is a selfie of Bam lying in his bed.

Lamar had previously told TMZ that he would 'reach out my hand to him' and help Bam get into his facility, which the former stuntman accepted in a video.

Jess had recently revealed that he was considering legal action against Bam for attacking him, later rolling back much of that statement to express his sadness at his brother’s condition.

In an emotional Instagram post, he wrote: “I hope none of you have to hurt as much as me right now.

“He is dying, and there is nothing I can do about it.”

However, after that, he tweeted: “I might have permanent hearing damage from bams [sic] desperate lame ass little 'attack' while I was making coffee.

“If that's the case all of my bands upcoming touring income he will be sued for and I will f***ing win.

“I'm not a fun enemy to have.”

He then went back on his threat, adding: "Ok I officially retract all my recent sh*t talk and tough love, rumor has it Bam finally said enough is enough and agreed to go to treatment, if that is the case I am extremely proud of him."
