Bam Margera has been found safe after going missing yesterday, his brother Jess has tweeted.

CKY musician Jess Margera put out a call for any information about his whereabouts yesterday, clearly worried about the former Jackass star’s safety.

In the end, it sounds like things developed into a seriously scary ordeal for everyone involved, but Jess later updated his followers on Twitter to say that Bam had been found.

He wrote: “They found him safe.

“He texted me and my parents at 6 am this morning saying he loves us he loves Phoenix and he is ‘at peace’ and that he took enough pills to stop his heart.

“And some really heartbreaking dark s***.

“Thanks to everyone who shared info today.”

Yesterday afternoon (4 June), he had tweeted: "If anyone in the LA area knows of Bam's current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately.

“I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time.

“If you guys could retweet this that would be really cool of you.”

Bam has had a well-documented battle with substance misuse in recent years, which led to him being kicked off the latest Jackass film, as well as sparking a four-day manhunt after police in Pennsylvania issued a warrant for his arrest and he fled into the woods near his house.

Jess had tweeted recently that he was considering legal action against Bam for attacking him, later rolling back much of that statement to express his sadness at his brother’s condition.

In an emotional Instagram post, he wrote: “I hope none of you have to hurt as much as me right now.

“He is dying, and there is nothing I can do about it.”

However, after that, he tweeted: “I might have permanent hearing damage from bams [sic] desperate lame ass little 'attack' while I was making coffee.

“If that's the case all of my bands upcoming touring income he will be sued for and I will f***ing win.

“I'm not a fun enemy to have.”

He later added: “I wasn't going to press any charges at all but his dumb a** lawyer and surprise s***ness talking him into trying to sue me for whatever fake bull**** they are drooling at him is going to cost him the little bit of $ he has left.

“Sorry it's just the way I am.

“If you stab me [with] a knife I will f***ing end you with a Conan the barbarian sword.

“Sorry not sorry.”

Then, he later said: "Ok I officially retract all my recent sh*t talk and tough love, rumor has it Bam finally said enough is enough and agreed to go to treatment, if that is the case I am extremely proud of him.

"I knew he wouldn’t puss out and throw in the towel, it’s just not who he is.

"Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and hope he does the work.

"It’s long overdue and he deserves to get back on his A game."
