Pink has revealed her 11-year-old daughter has joined her on tour – and that she’s even being paid for her efforts.

The 43-year-old singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore Hart, will be hitting the road with her ninth album Trustfall.

The new record was released on 17 February through RCA Records, and features guest appearances from the likes of The Lumineers, Chris Stapleton and First Aid Kit.

While promoting the album, Pink has discussed her plans for touring the music later this year, with dates starting in the UK on 7 June, before she heads back across the pond for US gigs from 26 July.

The tour, which will boast songs from Trustfall alongside some of her classics, will see Pink performing into March 2024.

She’s planning to take her two kids – daughter Willow, 11, and son Jameson, 6 – travelling with her for the ride, even if it means having to fork out some cash.

“Willow has a job on tour,” Pink told Today.

“We just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state.”

She joked that she had to work with her daughter on negotiating a little better, adding: “I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. it’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.”

The star said she's paying her daughter minimum wage.

As for son James, Pink said he was just happy with a 'lollipop'.

Pink also explained ‘Turbulence’, a song on Trustfall, speaks directly about the concept of mental health, including her own daughter’s.

Pink spoke about the forthcoming tour on Today.

"That lyric out there, (from) 'Turbulence,' almost made me cry," she said, explaining why she thinks the tune’s lyrics - which include ‘If you’re alive, then it means that you’re committed to survive’ - have struck a chord with so many fans: "Everybody gets it and that kind of makes me sad and happy all at the same time."

However, she said the song will always have a different meaning to different people.

"I hate telling people what a song is about because it's whatever it's about for you,” she continued.

“But for me, it's just speaking to anxiety and walking my daughter through it and down that road."
