Pink hits back at accusations of 'shading' Christina Aguilera

Pink hits back at accusations of 'shading' Christina Aguilera

Pink has had her say on claims that she has beef with Christina Aguilera

Pink has had her say on the alleged beef between her and Christina Aguilera.

The singer recently opened up about some of her biggest hits, and talk got round to her 2001 release 'Lady Marmalade'.

The iconic track formed part of the soundtrack for the film Moulin Rouge and saw Pink - real name Alecia Beth Moore Hart - team up with a group of female popstars, including Lil' Kim, Mýa, and Aguilera.

However, while you might assume that it was a hoot and a half shooting the video for the song, the 43-year-old said it was anything but.

Speaking to Buzzfeed, she said 'it wasn't very fun to make'.

"I'm all about fun, and it was, like, a lot of fuss, and there were some personalities," she explained, adding: "Kim and Mya were nice."

You'll have spotted that there is one very notable omission from the list.

Her comments left some fans curious as to what the beef might have been between Pink and Aguilera.

And after one person took to Twitter to question her comments, the singer hit back: "Y'all are nuts."

She went on: "Xtina had s**t to do with who was on that song. If you don’t know by now - I’m not 'shading' someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened.

"I’m zero percent interested in your f**king drama. If you haven’t noticed- I’m a little busy selling."

Adding: "Also- I kissed Xtinas mouth. I don’t need to kiss her a*s."

While both performers have said there's no massive problem between them, back in 2017, Pink claimed that Aguilera actually 'swung on me in a club'.

Recalling the alleged incident, the mum-of-two said: "Actually, she swung on me in a club, which was hilarious. I was like, 'What's happening right now? What's happening?'"

Responding to the remarks, the 'Beautiful' singer said that's not quite how it went down.

"I seem to have a different memory of a night we had at a club where we played spin the bottle," she said.

"I have a love memory."

Adding: "Wait, wait. Look at her; look at me. I wouldn't swing on her. She can beat my a*s. She could really beat my a*s then."

Discussing their relationship later on, Pink said that they were just 'very different people'.

"We were super young and super new at the whole thing," she explained.

"I think I'm an alpha, and she's an alpha. And I'm used to taking my altercations physical, and she's used to having them verbal."
