Many fans of Jason Momoa are pointing out the same awkward thing as his partner dedicated a heartwarming post to the film star to mark his birthday.

The Aquaman actor turns 46 today (August 1) and his girlfriend Adria Arjona took to Instagram and shared a slew of pictures of the couple over the past year.

The couple went public with their relationship in May 2024 on social media and have since been seen at a handful of red carpet events together.

Captioning the Instagram, Arjona wrote: "Happy birthday mi amor. There’s nothing I love more than doing life by your side.

"So here’s to one more year of being wild and free and to forever growing young. Love you so much babii @prideofgypsies.

"AND…happy @chief.of.war [Momoa's new TV show] day too. Excited for the world to watch what you’ve poured your heart and soul into for the past years."

Well, many fans have flocked to the comments section of the Instagram post and suggested that Momoa's current partner looks a lot like his ex Lisa Bonet.

"He definitely has a type," one person commented. A second added: "Looks like the mother of his kids."

While a third remarked: "Wow, she looks like someone else..."

Momoa split from wife Lisa Bonet in 2020, according to divorce papers filed by Bonet - though the separation wasn't public knowledge until 2022.

Their divorce was formally confirmed in 2024, with Bonet and Momoa agreeing to share custody of their teenage children.

The former married couple have Lola, 18, and Nakoa-Wolf, 16 - with the latter appearing in Dune 3 alongside his father. The movie is set to release in theatres across the globe in 2026.

The Game of Thrones actor recently dismissed any speculation he helped his son get the acting role, insisting his teenage son did it on his own accord.

Speaking to Extra recently, Momoa joked: "He's in for a rude awakening is what he's in for. He’s into the workforce for the first time."

And addressing those nepo baby claims, the Hollywood actor added: "It's going to be good. He did it on his own. I don't want to help him, and he's done it all on his own, and good for him.

"You want your children to be better than you, and I really, actually believe he is. I couldn't do what he's doing at his age.

"There's no way I could sit in a room with [Dune 3 director] Denis Villeneuve and hold my own. I was on Baywatch at 19. He's 16 and holding s**t down with Denis Villeneuve."
