Anthony Hopkins shocks fans with savage roast of Kim Kardashian’s bizarre new product

Much of the internet has been left in hysterics after Antony Hopkins savagely roasted Kim Kardashian's bizarre new product.

Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian's brand debuted a face wrap - a controversial new addition to her SKIMS shape-wear range.

Branded as the 'Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap' and apparently worth a staggering $48, the new product - which is to be worn overnight - promises chiselled cheekbones and a snatched jaw.

"Just Dropped: The Ultimate Face—our first-ever face innovation, made with signature sculpting fabric and infused with collagen yarns for ultra-soft jaw support," the caption read on SKIMS' Instagram post.

While the new range has received a lot of comments online, one person you don't expect to comment on such a topic is Anthony Hopkins - but here we are.

The actor resurrected his infamous character Hannibal Lecter in the process, a role which earned him an Oscar back in 1991.

In a now viral Instagram video, the 87-year-old Hollywood legend can be seen wearing the face wrap, which covers his chin, neck, as well as ears.

And fans of Silence of the Lambs will be well aware it doesn't look awfully dissimilar to the mask Lecter wears to prevent him from biting people in the movie.

So, mimicking his iconic character's mannerisms, Hopkins said: “Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger," as well as tagging Kardashian and writing in the caption to the viral social media post: "Thank you, Kim. Don't be afraid to come over for dinner."

Kardashian was quick to respond to the hilarious Instagram post with: "I'M SCREAMING!!!!! @anthonyhopkins @skims."

Many flocked to the comments section of the video to provide their reaction to Hopkins' roast.

One person penned: "He is the one and only.. And THE BEST Hannibal.. But Sir Anthony Hopkins is so much more!! He is also a great human and an awesome man."

A second added: "This is the the best publicity you could get @kimkardashian! This is so epic!" while a third quipped: "Are you having Kim for dinner???"

While Hopkins may be roasting the new product, those who are are actually interesting in purchasing it will need to know a little more about it.

Well, the device currently comes in two shades, 'Clay' and 'Cocoa', and includes one velcro strap which surrounds the top of the head, and another which supports the back of the neck, according to Tyla.
