Super Bowl fans have pointed out a major flaw in Usher's performance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The musician took to the stage during one of the most-watched sporting events of the year alongside Alicia Keys.

But while many people praised the performance as one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows ever, others were less than impressed.

And there was one issue in particular which fans drew attention to during the Super Bowl.

And no, it wasn't the absence of one fan-favorite singer among Usher's guest performers.

An artist can give a brilliant performance, but if the sound mixing for the show isn't up to scratch, then it can all be for nought.

And it was the sound mixing which fans drew attention to during Usher's halftime show.

One person wrote: "Girl this is a mess.... The sound team f***d up bad.... Usher sweatin his a** off doing nothing........ nobody in the field."

Another wrote: "So p*ssed @cbs #SuperBowl completely screwed up the sound! This is such a great half-time show!!! Needed it 2 be loud AF."

A third complained: "Who tf was on SOUND CHECK? Usher mic is not IT cmon now."

The show saw Usher and Alicia Keys take to the stage to entertain fans during halftime in the match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Fransisco 49ers.

The halftime show at one of the most watched sporting events of the year is understandably a coveted spot, with previous guests including Beyoncé and Madonna.

Usher took to his social media ahead of the performance to share his excitement for the upcoming concert.

He wrote: "I'm so ready for it to happen. I just want to sing louder than I've ever sang; dance harder than I've ever danced.

"I want to celebrate the 30 years of this career where I'm very fortunate to have made songs and moments with people that they will remember forever."

But despite the complaints about the sound mixing, many people heaped praise on Usher and Keys' performance.

One person wrote: "That was the best halftime show I’ve seen in a very long time."

Another said: "Usher crushed it! The most entertaining halftime show I can remember! Loved the Michael Jackson moves and glove!! I’ve never seen a person roller skating on his head until now!!! Best show ever!"

Meanwhile, a third posted: "Best Super Bowl halftime show for a very long time."
