Tickets for a huge Russ US tour have gone live and fans are surprised by the ‘big’ support act joining the rapper on the road.

Earlier this week, the American singer announced his Into The Wild 2025 tour with dates in the likes of Chicago, Denver, Boston, New York, and Toronto.

His debut album There’s Really A Wolf swiftly rose to number three on the US rap and R&B charts, and soon went platinum. His biggest hits include Ride Slow, Losin Control, and Last Forever, which featured Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross.

Now, the 32-year-old is set to perform some of his biggest shows yet, and is bringing along a huge support act. Big Sean is joining Russ on tour and some fans are surprised to see the singer taking on the opening role.

On a recent Reddit thread, one fan wrote: “Wait he’s opening for Russ? I didn’t realize that when I saw his post.”

A second explained, “I’m a little surprised at the hate in his comments, but I can understand why some fans may be upset or confused about him opening for Russ, especially if they don’t know that Russ is a bigger, more consistent touring artist than Big Sean.”

A third agreed, as they added: “I think it’s because people always subconsciously know that Sean doesn’t show his full potential as an artist, he always has much more in him to give creatively than he does give and that’s been discussed plenty throughout the years. Russ is a great rapper, that’s a guy who WANTS it and deserves more credit than he gets.”

Big Sean isn’t the only opener for the shows either, as Sabrina Claudio is also supporting.
