Foo Fighters have announced a 2026 North America stadium tour with huge support acts - and fans are all hoping for one thing.

Yesterday (Thursday, October 23), the American rock band confirmed they're heading on the road next year for shows in the likes of Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, and Las Vegas.

Speaking about the upcoming run, frontman Dave Grohl said: "Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing.

"From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one and only Ilan Rubin behind the drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we've got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core.

"And the sun is finally rising over the horizon."

The band will be in good company on the road too, as Queens of the Stone Age, Mannequin Pussy, and Gouge Away will support.

Amid news that Queens of the Stone Age are joining the band on tour, fans are hoping it means Grohl will return to the drums to play hits from 2002 QOTSA album Songs for the Deaf.

On Reddit, one fan wrote: "Does that mean we are gonna get Dave playing some Songs for the Deaf?"

Another tweeted, "Dave gonna drum on some QOTSA songs?"

A third added: "Seems like there's some potential since Queens of the Stone Age have been doing Them Crooked Vultures covers during their recent Catacombs Tour."

Grohl has a longstanding relationship with Josh Homme of QOTSA fame, after playing the drums for the rock group on 2002 album, Songs for the Deaf.

The duo also joined forces to form supergroup Them Crooked Vultures in 2009.

The set list for Foo Fighters' upcoming tour has not yet been confirmed, so stay tuned.
